Here is everything you need to know about iOS 11.3 Beta 2 Battery Health Feature.
Today, Apple has just released the iOS 11.3 Beta 2 for developers. And yes, finally there is something new for older devices like iPhone 5s, iPhone 6. iOS 11.3 Beta includes the Battery Life feature which tells us how’s the device performing.
It is important for you because you can check whether you need to replace the iPhone battery or not.
However, with iOS 11.3 beta 2, I like the fact that Apple gave us the ability to see what the battery percentage is.
In order to check the battery life or health on your device navigate to Settings > Battery > Battery Health and check the status of your device.
But, it is just at the beta stage which means it may have some bugs and need improvements. Hopefully, Apple will make changes to this feature, in the next beta updates.
I could really see what’s coming in the future from Apple and how much information is gonna be provided which is I think it’s great that we’re getting this much information about what’s happening inside our phone as much as from the outside of the phone.
Moreover, there are also some major changes in the iOS 11.3 beta 2 update.
- Appstore now the show’s the app update size and the new version in the updates section.
- Airplay 2 is much better.
- ClassKit framework for education apps.
- Video news section in News app has shown up.
And the bad news for iPod 6 users, it does not support’s the battery health feature yet. But, Apple said, in the future, they will add the support to this device too.
